Warm & Safe Wiltshire is a partnership project which aims to improve the energy efficiency of homes across Wiltshire. The aim is to protect those most at risk in cold weather and is a response to the increased evidence of a link between health and housing. This includes pregnant women, babies and children under five, people on low incomes, people with disabilities, poor mental health or long term health issues and the elderly. The aim is to reduce the impact on the NHS through GP consultations etc, and reduce the risk of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS).
